“Africa is / in the Future, the interdisciplinary festival on African and diasporic contemporaneities, is back for a new edition.
AIITF invites you to change perspectives, starting from other experiences, other narratives, other aesthetics to imagine other possible futures. It will be about postcolonial gaming, club culture from Kampala to Berlin, the production of African comics, representations within our cultural institutions. We will talk about the experience of racism and possible forks in the road from African thoughts. We will meet women activists and entrepreneurs who invest their territories with concrete actions, and you will discover a young and vibrant Brussels art scene.
Let’s meet from September 29th to October 2nd, at PointCulture, Cinema Nova, La Bellone and Décoratelier to share other imaginary worlds! ”
