MNF x Open Museum : Inclusieve Social Media Communication

09.09.2025

Each year, Brussels Museums makes inclusivity a structural priority in our events. For this 2025 edition of the famous Museum Night Fever, Open Museum is offering a training course for communicators. As part of the Open Museum methodology on the 5 P’s — specifically Place — we aim to enhance accessibility in both our physical and digital spaces.
To help us do this, we will be joined by Passe-muraille and Oranje vzw, two organisations specialising in accessible digital communication.

This training, designed especially for the participating museums of Museum Night Fever 2025, will demonstrate how to select accessible fonts, ensure high contrast, use inclusive language, add subtitles, and apply other technical accessibility tips in both French and Dutch.

Practical details:

  • When: 09/09, from 9:30 to 12:00 (NL) or from 13:00 to 16:30 (FR)
NB: the session in French from 9:30 to 12:00 is fully booked.
  • Where: KBR, Royal Library of Belgium, Mont des Arts 28, 1000 Brussels
  • By whom : Passe muraille asbl (FR), Oranje vzw (NL)
