“From October 15, 2021 to March 31, 2022, the Jewish Museum of Belgium presents a new educational project entitled “Caricatures on Jews: a Long History. Selections from an Extraordinary Collection”.
This extraordinary collection was collected by Arthur Langerman, a Belgian of Antwerp origin born in the middle of the war. With this educational exhibition, we give an idea of the collective madness that is this depicted anti-Semitism and we follow the phenomenon on different continents and over several centuries. This project confronts the viewer with the representation of Jews and the stereotypes associated with it from pagan and religious anti-Judaism to social and political anti-Semitism.”
