Inclusive activity label Museum Night Fever
During Museum Night Fever, the inclusive activity label highlights a selection of activities that explore the following themes:
- Sensory impairments
- Openness to the world
- LGBTQIA+ identities
- Decolonization of cultural narratives
Carefully selected for its alignment with Open Museum’s core values of inclusion, accessibility, and diversity, each theme offers visitors the opportunity to experience museums in a more open and inclusive way.
Following a successful pilot phase in 2025, the programme is now entering a new stage. Museums are once again invited to actively propose and programme activities that connect with these themes and expand the conversation in meaningful ways.
To support museums in developing inclusive programming during MNF, a created an inclusive programming bonus to provide financial assistance for selected activities carrying the inclusive activity label.
Good to know: Participating museums also benefit from additional visibility. Labelled activities are highlighted through the MNF communication, including articles showcasing their initiatives and efforts towards accessibility and inclusion. Visitors can easily identify these activities through a dedicated inclusive activity filter on the MNF website and in the brochure.
